The vintage penknife on this necklace is real and is sharp, so please be careful and make sure you're conscious of where you wear it (lets avoid the airport and little kids' birthdays shall we?).

My obsession with penknives started when my Father gifted an old one of his to me a few years ago. It was a shimmery white abalone shell pocket knife from his early teens and I knew I wanted to create something beautiful with it, since carrying it around on my keychain wasn't cutting it (and it fell off once in a parking lot!). Knowing it would be safer on a chain around my neck, I created my first penknife necklace and the rest is history.
